David W. Clark, P.E. is a licensed mechanical engineer and president of an engineering innovation lab, Adaptive Concepts LLC, started in 2017 and located in Troy, Michigan USA (AdaptiveConceptsLLC.com). Mr. Clark has an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University and the University of Pittsburgh respectively. He holds 6 US and 11 International patents and is a certified LSSBB and ESEP-Acq. Mr. Clark is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, a General Motors Scholar and recipient of the Henry Ford Technology Award as well recipient of 4 medals for civilian service in the US Army and a 4-Star General pin. Mr. Clark is motivated by highly motivated engineers, scientists, programmers, technology developers, and others in the development community working to create new technology solutions to remedy complex problems.

Transportation Sustainability - Advanced Design Development of a Vacuum Chamber Airship
The main goal for the project is to continue advanced engineering design development of the Vacuum Chamber Airship (VCA) sponsored by the company and initiated by the 2023 ASU EPICS engineering student team. Students will use SolidWorks and available ASU analysis applications (e.g., ANSYS, CFD, FEA) and available enabling technical references on the company's data repository to assist in the development effort.

Advanced Technology Promotion using AI and Video Animation Storyboarding
Our engineering development company has been working diligently and collaboratively with graduate student teams via Riipen to develop three new innovative technologies to serve others (particularly the special needs community) in addition to developing an innovative and sustainable new transportation system. Company: Adaptive Concepts, LLC, Troy, Michigan USA. www.AdaptiveConcepts.org We want to utilize and leverage the most recent advancements in available marketing and promotional tools in order to get our message out to the masses. We would like to collaborate with students to develop and create an advanced technology promotion strategy using AI and video animation storyboarding for each of the three new innovative technologies. Once the strategy is created, out company would like the student team(s) to execute the strategy to determine effectiveness via available market feedback. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s advanced technologies: Embellish upon the company's available storyboard framework to develop narration and animation scenes for the video. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Combining visual and auditory elements to create a finalized video. Recommending ideas for future marketing strategies.

Website UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website (AdaptiveConcepts.org) using Wix.com with a new prototype website. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our users. This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed. Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this

An Emergency Tsunami Evacuation System
The Main Goal of the project is for the student teams to determine the feasibility for the company-proposed Emergency Tsunami Evacuation System via a Low-Cost, Rapid Deployment Mass Human Lifting System. The feasibility assessment would be relevant for geographical areas most at risk of a Tsunami event.
